His project is not a commercial, but a philanthropic one. GENERAL RUSSELL’S VIEWS. In a letter to the secretary of the CShristchirrch branch of the Returned Soldiers’ Association, General Sir Andrew Russell says:—“While at Geneva I took the opportunity of visiting Professor Spahlinger, and to go round his establishment to interview patients and ex-patients who had been cured. lam satisfied, as far as a layman can be, of tho probable efficiency of the treatment, and it would be shameful if the treats ment were not given a fair chance of being proved for the want of money. Fortunately Sir James Allen is as keen aa anyone to secure a trial. Dr Collins’s report was most encouraging, and ho is evidently a convert.”
