A message from Pana, in Illinois, states that six men died and three are nearly dead as the result of drinking poisonous liquor which they obtained from an establishment ostensibly licensed to sell only soft drinks. Fusel oil and wood alcohol were the poisons which caused the death, according to the coroner’s verdict following on an inquest.
