FOUND IN THE AVON
WELLINGTON MAN’S DEATH. Per Press Association. CHRISTCHURCH, October 13. The body of Thomas Hickey, an elderly man, who arrived from "Wellington a fortnight ago, was found floating in the Avon at Brighton. Hickey was la«t seen alive last night. His papers showed that he was a member of the Wellington Working Men’s Club, and he is believed to be a watersider.
Thos. Hickey is a watersider, and was on a visit to Christchurch. He is not known to have any relatives in Wellington.
