LYALL BAY SCHOOL
OVERFLOW CLASSES. GRANT TO RELIEVE OVERCROWDING. A grant for providing increased so* commodation at the Lyall Bay School was approved by Cabinet on Saturday morning. Owing to overcrowding at the school, overflow classes have had to be conducted for some time past in a hall in the district; but the need for this will be obviated by tlie addition to the school of the two new classrooms provided for in the grant. The inadequate lavatory accommodation is also to be increased.
