WILD HIND WINS GUINEAS ANGELO SCORES IN KANFUBLY. Per Press Association. DUNEDIN, October 13. Tho second day of the Dunedin Jockey Club’s races was held in fine weather. Tho course was in good order, and there was a large attendance. The totalisator handled £28,719, compared with •631,051 on the second day of last year, making a total for the meeting of £45,979, as compared with .£50,252 last year. Results WAKARI HURDLES, Of 200 sovs; one mile and a half. Red Admiral, 11.10 (Dawson) ... 1 Falstaff, 12.1 2 Galway, 9.12 3 Also started.—Frenchman 11.2, Rapid River 9, Orange Bitters 9. The winner and Frenchman made most of the running. Won by a length and a half, with a length between second and third. Time, 2min 52 4f-ssec. DOMINION HANDICAP, Of 250 sovs; five furlongs. Lava, 7.13 (Beagle) 1 Revel, 7.2 2 All Style, 7.2 8 Also started—La Rev© 7.9, Taboo 7.9, Apache 7.9, Bachelor Gay 7.9. The second horse was in charge till ooming down the straight, when Dame Straitlace challenged strongly and won by a length and a half. There were three lengths between second and third horses. Most of the running was made by Corn Rigs and Guncase. Angelo joined the leaders three furlongs from home, and followed Cor a Rigs into the straight.
