HICKSON MISSION
ALLEGED MARVELLOUS .CURES. Per Press Association. HAMILTON, October 12. The Hickson Mission has closed. The most notable case was that of Mr K. Nelson, secretary of the Chamber of Commerce, who has been in a wheeled chair for nine years suffering from an affection of the spine. After the laying on of hands he was assisted from the chair, and was able to walk a short distance. He also said his neuritis pains had left him. Mr Nelson feels sure he has benefited, and will continue to improve.. A telegram was read from Mr W. Quintal, of Waihi, who walked for the first time for two years on the previous day, saying: “It is marvellous. I felt lovely this morning.” Mrs Kerr, of Paeroa, who was unable to walk without assistance for thirteen years, is now able to walk freely. Ashby Fawcett, a boy, has had his sight much improved.
