GUILTY OF THEFT
SECRETARY’S MISAPPROPRIATION.
Per Press Association. THAMES, October 12.
Norman Gibbs, late secretary of tin Thames Harbour Board, pleaded guilty to-day in the Magistrate’s Court, to 25 charges of misappropriation and forgery, involving £2BO, from October, 1920, to September, 1923, also to a charge of theft of £lO from the patriotic funds. It is understood the total amount taken from, the latter is £l9O. Accused was committed to Auckland for sentence.
