A WOMAN'S ARM
FOUND AT COOGEE. A sensation of short duration was caused by the discovery of the left arm of a woman in a gully off Carrington road, Coogee. Dr. Palmer examined the gruesome exhibit, and gave his definite opinion that it was a medical student’s property. The presence of red lead in the sinews was responsible for his quick solution of. the mystery. The discovery was made by two girls who wore playing in the gully. They ran to the police station, and Sergeant Saunders took charge of the arm. All the flesh had disappeared, but the bones and sinews, from the socket to tho fingers, were complete. The exhibit was taken to the detective office and examined by Dr. Palmer. who settled the 'matter in a few minutes.
