Tho second wool sale of Hie 1922-23 series was held to-day, when 12,219 bales were offered to an excellent attendance of buyer*. Representatives were present from Home, America, the Continent, and Dominion mills. The quality of the wool, taken all round was excellent, the bulk being light in grease as the result of comparatively cool weather during tue last lew months. Bidding was weaker than at the opening sale, and prices for medium, halfbred, three-quarterbred and piece wool showed a slight decline. Overseas representatives were not keen bidders, the Dominion representatives being the keenest buyers. . RANGJEi OF PRICES.
