Ludendorff had a most hostile reception on his arrival at Klagenfurt (in Austria). , .In an address-to a Nationalist meeting, hundreds of workmen, surrounded his motor-car, shouting “Murderer!” “Bloodhound 1” “Traitor!" “Germany’s Gravedigger!” The demonstrations continued till late at night. , Fields&farahal Ludendorff was the supreme commander of the German land forces in the war, and is generally believed to have been the virtual dictator of Germany.
