The annual match between the Wellington Bowling dub and the other clubs of Wellington combined took place on the Wellington Club’s green on Saturday in bright and breezy weather. Late in the afternoon the wind abated considerably, and conditions were almost perfect. The Wellington Club has won the match, ever since it was instituted, and successfully defended the title on Saturday, winning by 58 points. In some instances the club’s rinks were defeated —curiously enough five of the strongest teams went down. The total points were Wellington, 337; Combined Clubs, 279.
