REDUCTION OF RATES
BY CONFERENCE LINE. Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. (Received February 4, 5.5 p.m.) LONDON, February 3. The Conference Shipping Line announces a reduction in freights to Australia. Fine, rough measurement, packed, and dose-weight cargo will he charged 10s a ton. Other special rates are under consideration. The reduction will be retrospective from January 22nd.
Homeward freights are still under consideration.
