LEAPS FROM CRASHING AEROPLANE. Major Gearhart, Captain Doyle, and four privates of the American army, were killed in an aeroplane collision at Langley Field, U.S.A. Major Gearhart took off in a Fokker and caught the tail of a Martin bomber which was already in the" air. Both machines were precipitated to the ground.
