MR AND MADAME DE MAUNY

SCHOOL FOR MUSIC. Musical circles in Wellington will be gratified to know- that Mr and Madame do Mauny, front London, have .decided to reside in this city, where they will practise their profession. Mr de Mauny comes to us with the highest credentials from Mr Albert Sammons, the celebrated English violinist, as a teacher of his instrument, and this is supplemented by testimonials from Sir Lan don Ronald, the well-known conductor and composer, regarding his ability in orchestral work. Air de Alauny also studied under the great Cesar Thomson at the Liege Conservatoire of Music. The “Weekly Dispatch’’ says: “What they listened to with special interest wera the violin solos by Massenet, beautifully played by Air Leon dt Mauny.” Madame de Alauny, who is equally Well equipped as a singer or pianist, has had considerable London concert platform expei’ience. She is a Licentiate of the Royal Academy and gold medallist of the Guildhall School of Music. Among her performances maybe mentioned appearances at a grand concert at Windsor Castle and numerous appearances at the Queen's Hall, Crystal Palace, and the Guildhall. Mr and Madame de Mauny are prepared to receive pupils as from Monday next.
