STEAMER BREEZE IN TROUBLE TUG TO THE RESCUE. Per Press Association. DUNEDIN, November 12. The Breeze, which left Lyttelton at 2 p.m. on Saturday, for Dunedin, was seen giving distress signals off Aloeraki, 32 miles north of the Otago Heads. Engine trouble is believed to be the cause of the vessel drifting north. The tug Dunedin left Port Ohalmers at 4 p.m. on Sunday to render assistance. A stormy to gale south-west wind is blowing, making towing difficult. If the Breeze ie in tow she will probably arrive at Poit Chalmers at midnight or early od Alonday morning.
