The high quality dogs on exhibition at the annual show of the Wellington Kennel Club attracted a large number of interested admirers;; and general interest being shown in the judging as it processed. ' Entries were confined, to one in the Gordon setter and retriever classes, F. R, Lisgington securing a first and challenge in the former, and T. Swede-'a first for the, .heavier, ,dog;_.. Irish Terriers.—J. G. Karcourt, 5 firsts, 5 seoonds, 2 -thirds; W. R. Crookes, 3 Byrne, 1 first; G. Bundy, 2 seconds, 1 third; J. Doe, 1’ second, 4 thirds. In the any breed (other than toy dogs) class, S. C. Crisp secured first , and' challenge oup with a black cocker, Miss P. Skey (deerhound) was second, and 'Mrs C. Reilly (Irish setter) third. The first prize for working gun dogs went to T. Andrews (English setter). The second and third prizes were secured by J. H. Lange (English setter) and Morton and Dawson (Irish setter) respectively. Thomson. Best Gordon setter: F. R, Lissington. Best (other than black) cocker spaniel: Mias Macaulay. Gold medal, best puppy cocker spaniel: C. R. P. Armstrong. Best rough-coated collie in show: T. Willis.
