FINALS COMMENCE TO-DAY. Vi ANDERSON IN FORM. Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. (Received August 31, 8.30 p.m.) NEW TORk, August 30. Patterson and Tilden meet in the first matoh for the Davis Cup. on- Friday. Anderson and Johnson follow and Batterson and Johnson play the fourth match on Monday. All the members of the Davis Cup teams, except Richards, were on the courts today. Anderson's game was closoly watched. He appears to have fully recovered and played several sets of swift tennis, declaring that, he felt tip .top. .
