CARS OF DEATH
EVIDENCE OF TERRIBLE CRIMES. DISCOVERY IN MISSOURI RIVER. Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. NEW YORK, August 29. A message from Kansas City states that evidence of ghastly crimes was discovered when two motor-cars were found at the bottom of the Missouri river, with a dead man in each car, bound hand and foot and tied to the steering-wheel. Divers state that at least a dozen other cars are lying, at the 6ame spot, and it is feared that other bodies may be found. The investigators managed to raise one car, but it slipped from the ropes and plunged back into The river.
