NATIONAL DOUBLES FINALS POSTPONED.

Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. NEW YORK, August 28.

The final of the National tennis doubles between W. T. Tilden and Vincent Richards (America) and Gerald Patterson and O’Hara Wood (Australia) has been postponed until Tuesday. Twenty hours* continuous rain has made tho court*’ unplayable.

(Received August 29, 8.20 p.m.) NEW YORK, August 29. The Boston tennis courts are so wet that it is doubtful if the national doubles match can be played to-day. The teams agreed that if this is the case the match will be postponed till after the Havis Cup or even after the national singles.
