THE PENALTY
BOURNEMOUTH MURDERER EXECUTED. Australian and N.Z. Cable Association.. LONDON, August 19. Thomas Henry Allaway, the Bournemouth murderer, was executed to-day. Irene Wilkins, aged 30, advertised for employment, and received a telegram telling her to go to Bournemouth, where she would he met by a motor-ear. Next morning her dead body was found with the head battered, apparently by heavy motor tools, and there were marks showing where She had been thrown from the car. A telegram similar to that reoeived by Miss Wilkins was sent to a London nurse, who visited Bournemouth but went to the wrong station and failed to meet the man. She subsequently found that the address given was fictitious. She probably escaped a fate like that of Miss Wilkins.
