DISTRESSING FATALITY
CHAR-A-BANC OVERTURNS. Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. LONDON, August 19. A char-a-banc, conveying twenty-five passengers, returning to Ashford, Kent, from Hastings, overturned in a ditch filled with water. Eight passengers were killed by drowning and suffocation, and six were injured.
