FIRE AT KARORI
THREE MOTOR-CARS DESTROYED, Three motor-cars were destroyed in a fire which occurred at Karori yea. terday. The fire brigade received a call at 2.30 o’clock to the Main road, Karori, where a shed, containing three motor-cars and two gigs, had caught fire. The two gigs were saved from the fire, but the three cars, two belonging to Mr L. de Ernesto and one to Mr William John Burch, were completely destroyed. Mr de Erneste’a cars were covered by two insurance policies, one for £450 in tbe Alliance Company and one for £3OO in the Insurance Company of Australia. The cause of the fire is unknown.
