FINANCIAL REBATE
TO COMMENCE THIS EVENING. THE BUSINESS OF THE WEEK.
The Honse of Representatives meet* at 2.30 p.m. to-day. The Leader of the Opposition (Mr T. M. Wilford) is to open the.debate on the Financial Statement this evening, and it is anticipated that the diecussion will occupy at least the remainder of the week. Not only will the usual questions of policy covered by the Budget Speech be debated, hut the Government’s naval policy epd the report of the Taxation Committee will also come under review. It is expected that a number of departmental reports and other papers will he presented during the week.
