GERMAN TRADE WITH JAPAN. REMARKABLE ACTIVITY. Reuter’s Telegram. TOKIO, July I. Official trade reports disclose that Germany is not only regaining her former trade in Japan ; but is surpassing it. 'The value of imports from Germany during tho year ended June Ist totalled 83,000,000 yen, which is 22,000,000 yen above the average of the ten years immediately before the war. In 1902, German imports were valued at 48,000 yen. In 1920 the amount reached 13,000,000 yen; in 1921, 47,000,000 yen; and for the five months of tne current year, 48,000,000 yen.
