ANNUAL MEETING. Delegates from both Islands will Uk somble in the Dominion Farmers’ Institute on Wednesday next for the annual meeting of the New Zealand Alliance. There is great activity in the prohibition camp in view ot the forthcoming poll, and this annual meeting is of special interest to nil the active workers in the prohibition cause. It is stated that a thoroughly representative gathering is expected. The ceneral public are invited to participate in the great mam meeting which is to take place in the Town Ball on Wednesday night, at fi o’clock, when Ilis Worship the Mayor will preside, and Messrs 1.. M. Isi tt. N1.1’.. and the Rev. R. B. S. Hammond will he tho principal speakers. A community sing, from 7.30 to 8 p.ra.. wril precede the meeting.
