REORGANISATION SCHEME. Details of the reorganisation of the New Zealand Army Ordinance Corps are given in G.H.Q. instructions Just issued. Enlistments of permanent soldiers will be for five years, and they may be re-engaged for subsequent fiveyearly terms up to the age of 55. On re-engagement medical examination is necessary with classification (1) fit for general service; (2) fit for service in New Zealand; (3) unfit for active service. Professional qualifications, efficiency and character will be considered in the selection of soldiers for promotion, and with these conditions equal, preference will bo given to long service. Accelerated promotion ie permissible in cases of outstanding ability
