KNOCKED DOWN BY TRAIN. PER PRESS ASSOCIATION. TACMARUXUI, July I. A farmer named E. McGovern wae seriously injured at Uatiere this morning on tho arrival of the Public Work* train. Ho was walking on the line with mi umbrella up when he was knocked down. His right leg was almost severed at. the knee, anal bis left log was injured. The train waa being pushed in front- of the engine at the time, and the driver could not see the man on the line.
