SOLDIERS’ MEMORIAL
CHURCH WINDOW UNVEILED PJR PRESS ASSOCIATION! TIMARU, July 8. This afternoon, the Rev. W. A. Hay, cx-padre, unveiled, in the Banks street Methodist Church, a beautiful memorial window to the thirty-one men of tho church who lost their lives in the war. The window was made by Smith and Smith. Ltd., of Dunedin, and represents Christ bestowing a golden crown ro a kneeling knight in armour in a beautiful setting. The colouring is excellent. The Rev. Mr Hay gave an eloquent address on “The Need for New Spiritual Warfare to Stabilise the World Afresh.’’
