DISHONEST SALESMAN
ADMITTED TO PROBATION. Andrew Ritchie pleaded guilty at the Magistrate’s Cobrt on S’aturday to a charge of stealing ss, the property of James Smith, Ltd., and was admitted to probation for twelve months. Chief-Detective Kemp submitted Chat accused was a married man with three children. On two occasion*, when customers had from him five shillings’ worth of goods, Ritchie had written out a receipt lor 2s 6d, and had misappropriated the remainder of the money. Accused had no previous criminal record.
