FIRE AT COURTENAY PLACE
MOTOR ACCESSORIES AGENCY DAMAGED. At 7.48 last night the Central Fire Brigade Station received a call to 55, Courtenay place, a two-story building constructed of wood and iron and owned by Mrs Margaret O’Neill, of 53, Hawker street. The premises are a shop and offices in the occupation of Mr Ormond Herbert Brightwcll, motor accessories agent. Tile shop and contents were badly damaged, although there has been no opportunity as yet to estimate the actual damage done.
