THH ANNUAL DINNER. At tho Umpire Hotel last Thursday evening a dinner was given by Leyland Motors. Ltd., to celebrate the annas! conference of the firm’s agents throughout Now Zealand. Mr Duncan F. Banchop, general manager for New Zealand, presided, the guests being Mr J. Sea brook (Seabrook, Fowlds and Co.. Auckland), Mr C. L. Wilson (Wi’son’s Motor Sup« plies. Ltd., Bltham), Mr Hyslop (Tourist Motor Co.. Hastings). Mr T. Wagg (T. Wr*gg and Co.. Masterton). Mr IT. B. Burrell {Burrell and Dur;t*nt, Feilding), Mr J Richards (Mount Cook Motor G». # Tiraarn), Mr Grieve (Watt* and Grier®, Invercargill), Mr Burtt (XrZ. Farmers* Distributing Co., Ltd.. Wanganui), Mr H. H. Smith (Greymouth); the manager® of the Christchurch and Dunedin branches of the firm, Messrs F. W. Parand H. H. Allen; also Mr H. D. Raphael, sales manager, and Mr Gould, accountant. A very pleasant evening spent and comment was made about the wonderful development of the Ley» land business during recent month®.
