Messrs Dalgety end Co., Ltd., report having received the following cablegram from their London house, under date of the 28th instant Tallow —2440 casks tallow offered, 620 casks sold. As compared with our last week's report prices are unchanged to 6d lower. Wool sales —Wool sales closed firm, good demand for combing, hut prices are irregular for faulty and lambs wools. A s compared with last sales closing rates, fair to good merino scoured par to 5 per cent, lower? short faulty merino, scoured 5 to 10 per cent. low r er; super merino, greasy, par to 5 per cent lower; average to good merino, greasy, 5 per cent, lower; inferior and faulty, greasy, 5 to 10 oer cent, lower: comeback wools, greasy, r*ar to 5 per cent, lower; crossbred, fine quality, 5 to 10 per cent, lower; medium qnality, 15 per cent. lower; coarse quality, 10 per cent, lower; crossbred, fine scoured, 5 per cent, lower; medium and coarse, scoured, 10 per cent, lowor; fine sliped combing wool, 5 per cent, lower: medium and coarse merino elipe, superior, 10 per cent, lower; slipe clothing wools, 5 per cent lower. B.A.W.R.A. offered 61,000 bales, including 8700 bales Cape, of this practically all was sold. Therp was 95,000 bales of free wool offered. including 40,500 bales New Zealand, 6000 Punta Arenas, and 2000 Cape Eighty-five -per cent, of the offering was sold. 50,000 bales to the Continent, including 3000 bales of Punta Atrensvs and 3000 bales for America.
