LEVIN AND CO.'S REPORT. At Fell ding sale a good yarding of both sheep and cattle came forward to a good attendance. Fat sheep met with good competition, and last week's prices were fully maintained. Hoggets were slightly easier than at late sales. 600 Romney heeding ewes and 380 Romney ewe lambs, which we offered in conjunction with Dalgety and Co., Ltd., on behalf of the estate of the late Mrs Ellen Edsett. sold well under keen competition. There was a heavy yarding of dairy stock. Guaranteed ©ows, close to profit, met with fair competition, backward heifers and late cows were neglected. Store cattle met with a dull sale and prices were low, though the bulk of our entry changed hands. A good entry of fat cattle were fairly competed- for. Dalgety and Company, Limited, Palmerston North, report having a very good entry of both sheep and cattle at their Feilding salo on Friday, the 80th ult. There was a good demand for all classes of sheep, but dairy cattle were dull of Bale. Stores and fats sold about equal to last week's rates.
