FORTNIGHTLY SALE. , The fortnightly sale of 6heepskins, hides, tallow, etc., was held on Friday. There was a large attendance of buyers, and considerable competition. Compared with previous sale, held on June 16th, sheepskins all round were lower by |d per lb. Salted sheepskins were firmer. Heavy ox hides were lower by id per lb. Medium ox, Id lower, and light ox id lower. Cow hides and yearling 6 were firmer, and calfskins were higher by Id per lb. The range of prices were as follows: SHEEPSKINS. Halfbred, 5d to Bid; fine crossbred, s|d to 8d; medium coarse crossbred, 3Jd to 6d; short to half wools, Id to lambs* Id to 6Jd; dead and damaged crossbred, Id to sd; inferior and badly damaged, id to 2£d; pelts, id to Id; damp, 6alted, and green*, Is to 4s sd; lambs, salted, Is 6d to 3s Bd. HIDES. Hides, ox heavy SQlb, 10-Jd; ox heavy, 591 b up, 6kl to 10id; ox, medium, 50-561 b, 6d to 7icf; ox, light, 491 b and under, 4sd to 6id; cut, slippy, and inferior, 2|d to 8a; cow, heavy, 551 b and over, ssd to 7d; cow, medium, 421 bto 541 b, 5d to s|d; cow, light, under 421 b, 5d to 6d; cut, slippy, and inferior, 2sd to sjd; bull, stag, Id to 3|d; yearlings, 111 b to S3lb, 6d to 9d; calf, super, up to 101 b, 16|d to X7fd; calf, medium to good, up to 101 b, 15id to 17id; calf, damaged, up to 101 b, ljd fo 14id.
