A PASTEUR EXPERIMENT
NO FOOD, NO SEA SICKNESS. M. Pozerski, a savant of tho Pastern Institute, has recently been conducting a series of experiments regarding animals and 6ea-sickncss. He improvised a machine worked by an electric motor, which produced tbe pitching and rolling motion of a ship. Babbits and guinea-pigs were unaffected dfter six hours in the machine, but 30 per cent, of tlie dogs wore sea-sick. None of tbe animals placed in the apparatus without being fed was affected. After s third trial all tho canine sufferers were immune.
