PAK-A-POO CASES
CONVICTIONS UPHELD. Hie Honour the Chief Justice (Sir Robert Stout) yesterday delivered judgment in the alleged pak-a-poo cases, Hing Fun and Git Ton v. Brabazon. His Honour, after summing up the evidence produced before the Magistrate’s Court, and after reviewing the arguments of counsel in the Supreme r ' in t, dismissed the appeals, thereby -us' lining the convictions and fines imposed by the magistrate. Mr E. G. Jellicoe appeared for the appellants, and Mr Fair for the respondent.
