STATE CHILDREN
FOURTH STANDARD EXAMINATIONS. Mr E. J. Howard, Labour member for Christchurch South, gave notice in the House of Representatives yesterday to ask for a return showing the number of State children over fourteen years of age who are out working for private firms, but have not passed the fourth standard of education.
