HAMILTON SHOOTING
DETECTIVE LAMBERT’S CASE. CHARGE OF ATTEMPTED MURDER The man accused of having shot Detective Lambert at Hamilton recently, William Alexander Crossan, 26 years of age, was brought before the Auckland police court on remand. Crossan, who is a tall, powerful looking man, was charged with attempted murder. On the application of Chief-Detective McTlveney, the accused was further remanded until July 3rd. B%il was not applied for.
