WOMAN HOTEL ROBBER SENT TO GAOL. Australian and N.Z. Cable Association (Received June 27, 9.40 p.m.) LONDON, June 26. Mary Macdonald, the possessor of a university degree and versed in many foreign languages, was sentenced to throe years’ imprisonment at Brighton for hotel robberies. She was described as the most expert woman hotel thief known to Scotland Yard. £SOOO worth of stolen jewels were found in her rooms.
