THE GENERAL ELECTION
LABOUR CANDIDATES. The Wellington Labour Representation Committee, at its meeting tonight, will probably make a selection of the candidates to contest Wellington seats at the general election. The time for selecting candidates was extended until the end of this month. The vacancy on the CSty Council will also be discussed, and th© question of nominating a Labour candidate will be considered. THE MASTERTON SEAT. It is understood that, us the result of Mr T. M. Wilford’s meeting in Masterton last week, tho support of the United Party will be accorded to Mr A. C. Holms at the general election.
