YOUNG MAN’S SUICIDE
TEMPORARY INSANITY. A young man named Henry Horton Wad©, aged 24 years, who was residing with his father, committed suicide at Taupiri. Deceased’s father had been working in the garden during the afternoon, and on going into the shed for some tools he found his son dead, hanging by a rope from one of the rafters. At an inquest held before Mr Young, S.M., it was stated that deceased had been very ill with meningitis in Trcn,tham camp some years ago, and as tlie result had spent the last few years either in the sanatorium or in the mental hospital. Since retuming to his father a short while ago ho had always been of the most peculiar disposition. A verdict of suicide while temporarily insane was returned.
