MISSING MANUREWA
Evidence at the inquiry.
By Telegraph:—Press Assn.—Copyright. (Received June 2, 7.20 p.m.) SYDNEY. June 2.
The Manurewa inquiry has been adjourned for the production of further evidence. Testimony was given that she was seaworthy, well found and manned at tho time of her departure. None iof the hatches reoently washed ashore corresponded with the Mamirewa’s.
Suggestions have been hazarded that she was run down in the dark or heeled over in a sudden “buster.”
