DOMINIONS TO BE GIVEN PREFERENCE. Australian and N.Z. Cablo Association LONDON, May 30. Colonel Ame.ry, replying to a question in the House of Commons, said the practice of the Admiralty Was to give preference to Empire produce, even when it involved the payment of higher prioes. Use had been made of certain frozen beef shipped from South America by the Board of Trade, hut arrangements were now ni progress to substitute Empire-grown supplies. In the -caeo of frozen mutton, the stipulation was made that it should all be from Australia or New Zealand.
