REFUSED ADMISSION
TROUBLE AT ROTORUA SCHOOL. BIBLE LESSONS IN TIME-TABLE HOURS. « PEB PRESS ASSOCIATION. ROTORUA, May 31. In accordance with the wishes of tho fechool committee and parents of pupils, the Rev. Randerson, a committeeman, Was admitted to the school last Wednesday by the headmaster, under protest, to give lessons on the Nelson system of Bible-reading. Yesterday the headmaster wrote the Rev. Randerson, informing him that he had instructed all teachers to proceed with the work acoording to the school time-table. This morning the Rev. Randerson, Archdeacon Chatterton, the Rev. Batty and others proceeded to the school, and were refused admission, the headmaster ptating that he was acting in harmony with the last resolution of the Education Board, which refused' permission to a committee to give Bible lessons in time-taMe hours. The Education Board will consider the situation at its next meeting.
