In the Middlesex tennis championships Lyoett beat Sorabjee, 6—l, 6—l; Barclay beat Wetheim, 6—2, 6—3. In the doubles Anderson, and Lycett heat Wheatley and Hampton, 6 —o, 6—o. Patterson and O’Hara Wood did not participate in the Middlesex tournament and are mow practising at Wimbledon.
