N.Z. RUGBY UNION
SOUTH ISLAND SELECTORS FOR NORTH v. SOUTH MATCH. A meeting of the management committee of the New Zealand Rugby Union was held last night, Mr G. W. Slade presiding. The other members present were Messrs S. S. Deans, A. Kitto, A. E. Wylie, A. Griffiths, and H. E. Combs (secretary).
For admission to the Maori team matches, the itinerary of which has already been announced, the committeo decided that the price of admission should be Is, plus tax, and to the grandstand Is extra. Messrs L. D. Carmine, Donald Stewart, and W. A. Drake were appointed the South Island selectors for the North v. South Island match.
The following League players were either admitted ort readmitted as Rugby players:—C. A. Nixon (Wellington), A. C. Taine and F. T. Smith (Auckland), F. J. Tetley, S. F. Gay, and W. L. M. Cockerill (Petone), C. Muschamp (Timaru), and M. Scott (Devonport).
