MASON DIVORCE CASE
A DECREE ABSOLUTE. I'EB PRESS ASSOCIATION. CHRISTCHURCH, May 30. His Honour Mr Justice Adams delivered judgment in the Mason divorce case. Judgment was on a motion brought bv Andrew James Mason for a decree absolute for dissolution of his marriage with Henrietta Mason. Hie Honour concluded by saying that the additional evidence brought forward was ; not, in his opinion, sufficient to affect the conclusion of the Appeal Court, with whioh he agreed. Petitioner, however, should make satisfactory provision for the maintenance of respondent, and the motion would be adjourned for that purpose. Tlie case was first heard before His Honour Mr Justice Herdman in August, 1921, who dismissed it. The petitioner appealed against this decision, and, by its judgment, the Appeal Court remitted the suit of the Supreme Court in order that a decree nisi might be made. Tho decree accordingly was made. The present motion was made under the Amendment Act, 1922. f
