BIG DROP IN INCOME TAX. IEB PRESS ASSOCIATION. DUNEDIN, May 30. The Prime Minister reoeired a number of local deputations. Replying to the chairman of the Vincent County Council, who drew attention to the rente of paetoral runs, Mr Massey said: “I am not going to part with a shilling at present. I nave the whole country telling me that we ought to make our accounts balance, and we are losing two millions this year in income tax, and nothing can save it.”
