FATALITY IN WORKSHOP
YOUTH STRUCK OVER HEART. SHATTERED EMERY-WHEEL. A young man named Ronald Herbert Brundson met his death yesterday, when working for his father at the premises of the General Manufacturing Company, 71, Courtenay place. fAt about 8.20 in tho morning, Mr William Thomas B. Brundson, the proprietor of the establishment and father of the deceased, heard a crash, and almost immediately noticed his son coming towards him as if something had happened. The young man then fell into his father’s arms and collapsed. The services of Dr Anderson were immediately requisitioned, but on arrival life was found to be extinct. Apparently the deceased had been struck over tho heart by a piece of flying emery-wheel which had broken. The young man was only nineteen years of age, and had been in his father’s employ for about two years. An inquest will he held to-day.
