PROTECTION TO SOLDIERS. PTO PRESS ASSOCIATION. AUCKLAND, May 30. In the Magistrate’s Court, Mr McKean, S.M., gave judgment refusing an order for the possession of a house occupied by a returned soldier. Ho bald that the Housing Act of last sesakm did not repeal the protection afforded to soldiers by the 1918 Act. Counsel for the tenant quoted the decision of Mr Evans, S.M.. at Net •on. Counsel for the owner urgod Mr Hunt's Wellington decision.
